LPPFusion’s fundraising accelerated substantially in October. On October 8 we received a Reg. D investment of $250,000 from a couple who are new investors in our effort. Together with earlier investments this year, the new investment increases our total Reg. D investments from accredited investors to $460,000 for the year so far.
Simultaneously, our Wefunder crowdfunding campaign has accelerated, with daily investments reaching almost $1,500 per day since the end of September. This is a great improvement over our summer lull, although still a bit short of our minimum goal of $2,000 per day. So far this year, just under $200,000 has been raised from crowdfunding. We attribute most of the increase to improved visibility due to our new video series (more about this in the next report, coming soon.)
Together the $660,000 raised so far this year put us on track towards our minimum goal of $800,000 per year. However, we really hope to do better than that in the last two months of the year, with new results expected from the lab. We need to, if we are to accumulate a necessary cash reserve in the bank. So, we hope all who have not invested this year will seriously consider doing so, if your finances allow!
