In early January, a friend alerted us to this video. From the standpoint of the end of 2026, the fictional video describes the open debate in cosmology over the reality of the Big Bang, which breaks out later this year after LPPFusion Chief Scientist Eric Lerner and 47 co-authors publish an earthshaking refutation of the expansion of the universe hypothesis. (Oddly enough, in the real world, Lerner and colleagues are planning new publications, but not yet with 47 co-authors!)
We don’t know who made it, but a lot of work went into the hour-long video. LPPFusion Director of Communications Ivy Karamitsos has awarded it our Sci-Fi Film Prize for 2025. Check it out. Who knows, maybe it will prove prophetic.
